I have reached the end of the first week of my weekly rotation and I think that it has been a great success so far. I actually really got into this piece, once I started stitching on it. In posting this update, I just realized that it’s been nearly 2 years since I’ve worked on this piece (last stitch date was February 13, 2005). Seriously, what is wrong with me? Way too many WIPs. I’m cutting them down this year; that’s the goal.
So, here are the before and after photos for this rotation slot:

And now I’m on to Cathy’s round robin piece. I want to have this one finished before our next get-together, so I will put extra time on it, if needed.
You made a ton of progress! I feel like I really need to start a rotation as well to keep me committed to certain projects… you seem to really be getting a lot done with yours!
Wow, that’s one of my goals too. (I was mid post on my blog about goals for the year and Blogger konked out on me. May get it posted today- fingerscrossed)
Thank you for the comment you left on mine too….. I haven’t posted in ages and I don’t think people check on me now.
Wow, that’s a set of turbo needles you have there! I love that fabric…is it painted or did you do that yourself…with the mottled peach color…BEAUTIFUL!
Wow, fantastic progress, Jenna! That’s a beautiful piece and the fabric is gorgeous 🙂 Hope you’re feeling better, my friend. I owe you an email and am thinking about you… I’ve just been swamped with work and it’s my turn to feel sick now. 🙁 (((hugs))) 🙂
That looks great, Jenna!
Hey Jenna, that’s some great stitching you’ve done – good for you!
How’s the work project going (do I dare ask?)? And has your health begun to improve?
Over here it’s gray skies, lots of wind, and a mounting sense of panic that I can’t possibly be ready for my upcoming midterm in time.
What a stunning piece! You made amazing progress.
Great progress! This will be so pretty in your dining room once it’s finished! I’m going to try the rotation thing too, hopefully it will help!
Great progress! Sounds like you’re happy with your new rotation, gf. Cool.
I love this piece. The fabric is just wonderful.
Good to hear your rotation is working. I have fewer WIPs now than I ever have had. I still luv most of my ‘stash’. most would be a lot of fun to work on. I’m working on another house block for the sampler game board. It is very relaxing !!
Enjoy the day
