I’ve been on a real roll lately and have managed to get 3 out of 6 PIF gifts finished in the past couple of days. I may have to make some tweaks, depending on the information I get back from people; regardless, all 3 should be ready to go out early next week. I spent some time this afternoon lining up the remaining 3 gifts. I need some information back from people on those, as well, then I will kit things up and slot time into my schedule as I see fit. Some mediums definitely go more quickly than others, so please don’t be upset if you are in the first group. The second group will just take longer. I would do them all in the same medium if I could, but I don’t think that I could come up with enough creativity to crank out 6 distinct pieces. Just too much pressure! 😉
So anyway, that’s where I am. Otherwise, I am plugging away on my rotation. It’s been tough to discipline myself to work on just one piece at a time and I hope that I am not being less productive as a result (though I suspect that I am). We’ll see how this goes, but at least I am seeing progress on Bonsai and Buddha (slot 1), which is quite an old UFO. One of my oldest, in fact. I will show before and after pics of the progress at the end of each slot. Probably on Mondays so that I have the weekend to spend some quality time on each piece. I’m excited to see if I can actually make this work for me!
You did a beautiful job on The Sweetheart Tree! And I really liked the Pansy you did for the Round Robin. I hope you will begin to feel better. I have migraines also and lots of sinus problems, and when you have the 2 at the same time, it is TORTURE!
I’ll remember you in my prayers!
Wow, that’s cranking out the PIF’s! 3/6 I think is FABULOUS!
I’m trying to crank mine out as well…but I’ve only gotten 2 done…
Yup typo error….imagine 200yrs later getting a house….that is really a long wait…lol
Hope you are feeling better now. Can’t wait to see all those who participated in the PIF, so exciting. You stitched all your work neatly and it smells nice too (one of the lucky recipient of your biscornu exchange 😉 ), I’m sure those who received anything that you stitched would be thrill to bits. 🙂 Coz they are make with love.
Hugs Jenna.
Um, none done here, and I still do not have 5 people to send to anyways!
(*happyclapping* can’t wait to see the goodies.)
Your work is just beautiful!
I don’t have good luck working on 1 thing at a time. I don’t know why. So, good luck with that. maybe you will be very successful getting those projects finished! probably why I still have a list of WIPs ….
darn those headaches anyhow. BE GONE already …. Jenna doesn’t have time for that!!!
Good luck with your project at work … Nice of Terry to listen and all. I’m not a techno & I’m sure there are more than one way to work on those things. hang in there. We have a lot of confidence in your skills
