I have officially booked a room for Terry and I at the Hershey Lodge for Friday night, September 29th! And I’ve filled out most of my class registration form, except for the credit card number, in case it falls into the wrong hands. I’ll probably scan it into the fax machine the night before and schedule it to fax over in the morning. 😉
Can you tell I’m getting a little excited now? I hope to meet several stitching bloggers while I’m there. Will you be one of them?
The class that I want to take (I only want to take one) is scheduled for Friday afternoon, so we’ll drive up around lunchtime, eat, I’ll take my class while Terry twiddles his thumbs for a while, then we’ll check in and go to dinner. Saturday is wide open. Nothing but shopping, stitching and gabbing with whomever. I’m looking forward to meeting you, if you’ll be there. Please comment or drop me a note and let me know so that we arrange to meet up. 🙂
Awww, I’d so love to join you! But it’s a little too far for me I’m afraid 😉 I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time!!
I think I’m going, but seeing as how I’m only 40ish minutes from Hershey, I don’t think I’ll be staying at the lodge. It’ll be my first CATS show, so we’ll see how I like it 🙂
You know that I’ll be there – just look for the girl with a strange accent 🙂
Have a lovely time! The Hershey Lodge is beautiful! We stayed there a few years ago between Christmas and New Years.
There is a big fireplace in the lobby (I don’t know if they have it lit in the summer), but it’s like winning the lottery if you actually get to sit in one of the comfy leather chairs around it.
I’ll be there, Jenna, along with my whole gang. Evie’s second birthday is the 29th. I couldn’t miss her birthday, but I wasn’t about to miss CATS either! I’m making our reservations today, we’ll be staying at the Lodge.
Funnily enough, I was chatting to Carol about this a couple of months ago, that I’m seriously tempted to head on over the Pacific to Hershey next year … especially if I know some of my favourite bloggers are going to be there again 😀 Dunno if I’ll be able to get the money together in time, but it’d be something nice to look forward to – I went to HOCS in Sacramento years ago, and loved it … especially when my suitcase came home jam packed with stitching stash (including lapstand and floor stand, and mat cutting board hahaha). You guys are going to have a blast this year – I’m very jealous! 🙁
